Right now I am thankful for…

…having the opportunity to play tennis again after a few years away from the court.

…seeing the kids off to school without any sort of hassle and fuss for the first time ever this week!

…being able to see Mum and Dad again on their way down to Sydney for a follow-up check and seeing Dad looking stronger and healthier.

…having the chance to watch my youngest girl at her first gymnastics class earlier this week and for being able to be there for her first dance class this afternoon.

…being able to clean the house after a holiday period where I just gave into the need to rest and not push myself.

…enjoying healthy food again, such as veggie packed fritattas, curries and salads.

…my son trying bacon and actually liking it!

…my parents-in-law who allowed Nathan and I to have a weekend away without the kids and to be able to reconnect as a couple.

…unexpectedly finding a likely answer for my brain meltdown last year. It turns out it was more than likely an atypical migraine (based on subsequent symptoms) which makes me feel a lot lighter in spirit.

…receiving confirmation that a worrying spot on my son’s leg is nothing to worry about 🙂

…seeing the sun again after a few days of rain.

…not having to go to work.

…being able to spend some time with my pugs!

  3. What a great list. I really need to sit down and do the same thing. It’s been one of those weeks and I find myself obsessing over the negatives.

What a lovely list, you certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Maybe I need to write it down too, everyone needs to remind themselves every now and again.
