Are you a winner?
December has truly been the month for giveaways on the blog. And I’ve loved every moment of being able to play “santa” for once!
So just imagine me in a fluffy red suit with a big bushy beard as I announce all the lucky winners of the recent giveaways on My Home Truths 🙂
Disney Live! Giveaway
The lucky winner is is Nikki A who chose The Little Mermaid as her favourite fairytale. I loved how Nikki pointed out that Ariel truly was ahead of her time by rescuing Eric and having an adventurous spirit and a need to explore the world. She is Delilah’s favourite princess too but her reasons are more to do with her being a mermaid and having a mermaid tale and beautiful hair! Congratulations Nikki, I’ll be in touch later today to grab your details.
Mega Christmas Giveaway
Thanks for the amazing support for this giveaway. It was the first of this type that I have hosted and I know it won’t be the last as it really is rather addictive being able to bring some very good brands together for your benefit. After sifting through the entries and working out prize preferences and taking on board just how many ways there are to practice the art of happiness, I came up with the following winners.
The lucky winner of the 10″ x 8″ canvas print is Zita H who inspired me by sharing that she practices the art of happiness everyday with her students. Being married to a teacher myself I know the challenges teachers face everyday so I was so pleased to read this Zita. I’ll be in touch later today to grab your details and to organise the prize.
The Kit Source
I could not go past Michelle J for this one, who shared that she is recently engaged and in need of party supplies – that is a reason if any to throw a party! I also loved that her art of happiness lay closer to home, in spending time with her partner and her dog – something that I ascribe to as well. Expect an email from me later today Michelle so I can give you the details of the voucher.
Kids Business Blogger Brunch Box
This was a popular choice for a prize and I’m not surprised – lots of goodies included just for you. Sadly, as much as I would have loved to have broken up everything and send them to more of you, there could only be one winner and that lucky person is Cate who submitted a very creative rhyming response. I loved how her ditty showed a real love of spending time in the garden with her son and how that represented practicing the art of happiness for her. Congrats Cate, I will be in touch to grab your address so I can get these box of goodies to you before christmas.
Thanks to everyone who supported both giveaways – I love doing this for you all and I just wish that I could have given you all something.
But, because we really are ALL winners (and who doesn’t love Hot Chocolate?), I’ll leave you with this song instead. You’re welcome 😉
