Musical Musings A to Z: W is for Stevie Wonder

Happy Sunday! Time to get our groove on for another week of musical musings. There is only about a month to go on my quest through the alphabet and I have to say I’ve had a heap of fun doing this. I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey too and have appreciated some of the artists I have featured along the way. This week we have arrived at W and I am showcasing one of the most amazingly talented artists of all time, Stevie Wonder.

He really does not need any introduction. All you need to do is sit back, get comfortable and enjoy his classic sounds….

This is arguably the best ever funk song. Ever.

For Once in My Life

I love the mix of old and new in this song – the old style vocals together with his funky harmonica and bass.

Isn’t She Lovely

This is such a truly upbeat and happy song – simply beautiful.

So, W. Who would have made your list for W artists? I could have also picked Whitney Houston, The Whitlams, Robbie Williams and Will Smith.

Now, the big question looms – can I find artists to fill the X, Y and Z spots on my list?

Come back next week to find out!

Spread the positivity!
