I Must Confess…I am the biggest…

I’m sure you’re all agog to know how that sentence is going to end!

But before I make my confession I first want to thank all of you who linked up with Emily last week and to Em herself for being such a great host. I really appreciated the fact the link up went on while I organised and undertook the big house move.

Speaking of the house move, we are all moved in but are still unpacking and sorting things out. I will be sharing more of the new house in the next few weeks once I have it set up the way I like it.

However, in the meantime, I must confess that I’m the biggest…house-proud homeowner right now!

My New House!

My new place – I will post more photos soon, I promise!

I am. I haven’t been so happy or proud or truly content in a long, long time. I’m even cleaning voluntarily at the moment. I know, that is so not me. But I’m sure it will pass, soon enough 😉

Everything here is set up just right. There is heaps of storage (finally), lots of room for everyone, tonnes of natural light and the aspect and the location is simply perfect.

I feel at peace. I feel content. It feels totally right. We are already right at home.

Even the kids have adapted far better than expected. None of them have talked about the old house, not like the last move where they lamented the move for a good six months afterwards. At the moment they are happy and I could not ask for more.

I must confess, I am so into my home that I have lost my blogging mojo. You may have noticed that I’ve been missing in action lately. I’ve been flat out sorting things out but at the same time I haven’t felt that overwhelming urge to write.

I’m sure it will return in time, but for now I’m scaling back and taking the pressure off. I will commit to confessing on Mondays but all bets are off for the rest of the week. Hopefully just stepping back and living for a while will see my blogging mojo return.

Here’s hoping anyway…

Do you have anything to confess this week? If so, link up, share and feel better for getting it off your chest!
