Sunday Session – Work Edition
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared some music on the blog so I thought it was time to bring the boogie back.
As I’m heading back to work on Monday after a week off I thought I would devote this Sunday session to all things work. More precisely, songs that get me ready for work!
Work – Kelly Rowland
I crack up whenever I listen to the lyrics of this song – the immature part of me sniggers at the innuendo but then I forget about it all and just dance out to it. It’s certainly a catchy, dancy number!
Just the Thing – Paul Mac
Although I’m not really looking forward to going back to work it is just the thing that I need sometimes – it keeps the brain going and the money rolling in. This song is one of my all time favourites and gets me moving and feeling positive everytime. The song itself starts at 10.36, this is the only proper version I could find on YouTube!
Get Set – Taxiride
If any song is going to get me ready for a day at the office, it’s this one! I love it, it is upbeat, fun and I’m a sucker for harmonies! BTW I had no idea this song was on the soundtrack to the Reese Witherspoon/Mathew Broderick movie Election – nice bit of trivia there…
White Knuckle Ride – Jamiroquai
Sometimes work can be a bit of a white knuckle ride – luckily Jamiroquai understands this and provides the groove to help me get through it!
