I Must Confess…I Have Nothing This Week

It’s time for I Must Confess again, the linkup where I confess to something and ask others to link up with their own confessions for the week.

Except this week I’ve got nothing, Nada. Zip.

I have a few half-boiled things I could confess to but nothing that I feel the burning need to share right now.

Maybe it’s a result of the pressure of solo parenting for the last week. I certainly feel mentally and physically exhausted tonight.

Maybe it’s because this linkup is starting to run it’s course. I’ve been confessing things most weeks for over 6 months now, I was bound to hit a wall sometime, right?

Maybe it’s due to the fact that I have blogged each day this last week (unheard of for me) and perhaps I’m just plain blogged out?

Whatever the cause, I really have nothing worthwhile to confess to this week which makes it imperative for YOU to step up to the plate and confess something instead.

Amuse me. Shock me. Intrigue me.

I would love to hear from you guys. And remember you don’t have to link up a post to participate. Feel free to confess in a comment here on the blog or on the Facebook page.

I am ready and waiting…

The Rules…

– I Must Confess is a link up that will be happening every Sunday – a bit of a homage to my Catholic upbringing, in fact!

– The link will be live from 10pm Saturday night for the whole week.

– You can link up something old or new, we’re not fussy around here.

– Please go forth and share the comment love – it is bloggy crack after all!

Thanks for linking up Trish. I really appreciated what you shared and I’m hoping that you receive better news by way of the pathology results soon. Take care of yourself and those unbelievably cute boys of yours!

When I was a teenager and doing my nursing training at the Mater Hospital I had to escort the priest to the next floor as he was giving communion to the patients who wanted it.
As we were standing together in the lift at the end of a long night shift he said he would like to give me communion so I had to confess my sins.I was in such a shock at the sudden request that I nervously said “sorry Father I cant think of any.”
He in turn got such a shock at my response of no sins that he became all flusted and fumbled as he shoved the communion into my mouth.Oh was I relieved when the lift doors opened and I could make a quick escape.
Over 30 years ago and still makes me laugh when I think about it.

That tickles my funny bone – I have a long Catholic history so can totally appreciate how you both would have felt when those lift doors finally opened!!! I remember my first ever confession, I believe I confessed to hiding my brother’s truck from him – hardcore stuff for our local priest to deal with!
