Friday on my Mind

It’s Friday. And I’m actually looking forward to it for once.

Most Fridays I’m exhausted after my work week yet face a packed itinerary of errands and shopping and appointments on my one day off.

Today, instead of running around madly to appointments or tearing about the shops doing the groceries or having to duck into work for a couple of hours I am spending a full day at home.

It’s bliss.

I’ve enjoyed the little things today like being able to get my washing pile under control and changing the sheets and sorting out clothes.

I received a delivery of groceries (thank you Coles Online!) and have had the opportunity to watch a few episodes of my favourite show, Castle.

I even attempted to do some vacuuming but had to abandon that after it sent Delilah Bear into a storm of tears. She really can’t cope with loud noise and I couldn’t cope with her distress.

Do you think I can use this as a valid reason to hire a cleaner? No?

And tonight I have the first semi-final of Eurovision to savour on SBS. It’s going to be awesome.

So, that’s why I have Friday on my mind today – here’s the song to prove it, thanks to Australia’s own The Easybeats!

Linking up with Dorothy from Singular Insanity for Things I Know. I know I’ve had an awesome day so far – what about you?

Spread the positivity!

Sounds like a perfect evening to me! Our little Pete doesn’t like the vacuum either. Neither did his older brother. A great reason to put off vacuuming, in my opinion. ūüôā

Thanks for supporting my reasons to not vacuum Ronnie. My Friday ended up being a great day, it was nice just to be able to stay in one spot and potter for a change!

I hope you can stop by and join in with I Must Confess one week – it’s something I look forward to running every week, I’d love to see others join in with the fun. Thanks so much for stopping by!
