Sunday Session – Our Kylie

My Home Truths regulars would know that I am a bit of a Doctor Who fan. For the full story read here and here.

Anyway, my husband and I have been loving the re-runs that have been on ABC2 at 7.30pm weeknights for the last few months. They are something we look forward to sharing together, with a refreshing cider, after a long day of kid-wrangling, work, and then more kid-wrangling.

A week or so back they showed one of the christmas episodes that starred none other than our own Kylie Minogue.

I realised I had not featured Kylie in a Sunday Session before – how remiss of me!

So here you are – 4 of my favourites, ranging from the Stock, Aitken and Waterman years through to more recent times – I will always have a soft spot for Kylie and her pop confections!

If I had chosen Kylie songs, these are the ones I would have chosen too! I have such a soft spot for Better the Devil You Know. For me, that’s when Kylie really arrived! xx

There are quite a few Kylie songs that I like but I wouldn’t call myself a huge fan – but these 4 definitely make me want to dance and make my heart sing.

Didn’t she look fabulous in the Better the Devil You Know film clip? She was certainly starting to own the music by then…

I’d never heard that last one before. My favourite was always In Your Eyes.

I can’t remember which album had Chocolate on it but I love the sultry bass in it – a little bit different to some of her other songs. In Your Eyes in another one that I like too – I may have to feature her again with a whole new set of songs, I sometimes forget just how prolific she has been throughout her career!

I love Kylie! Love love love love love. Yes, I would say I’m a massive fan. I could never pick a favourite song. Fabulous Sunday Session! 🙂
