Sharing is Caring!

I am always looking for other blogs to read and absorb.  The only problem is, there are so many out there, that a blog needs to really resonate with me to become part of my must-read list (which is already huge…sigh…).

A blog that has really resonated with me lately is the new-look Being a Fun Mum website which has just relaunched with an awesome new theme that really goes with the fun vibe of the site.

The site is all about how to be a fun mum with lots of ideas and prompts to take you out of your comfort zone and try something new with your kids.

I also really like the “Love the Moment” button, which I have added to my site to remind me to stop sometimes and just enjoy life.  I seem to rush endlessly from here to there and don’t always slow down enough to take it all in – this button should remind me to do just that!

There are also some “Love the Moment” tasks that Kelly from beafunmum.com also sets each month which I am going to try to participate in…again, trying to stay mindful and “in the moment”.  I will share them with you here, should be fun!

Kelly also has another site which I love – Very Jane Austen. I am an absolute romantic and love Jane Austen and the Regency period and (just quietly) love reading trashy historical romance novels.  This site is gorgeous and talks about the fashion of the period, the colours, the jewellery, everything.  Check it out, particularly if you are a sad romantic like me!

And, quickly, talking of all things historical, did you check out the premiere of “Downton Abbey” on Sunday night?  I LOVED it and will definitely be back for more.  The sets were lush, the costumes divine and the characters intriguing.  The Brits always do these series so well…

So that’s my first Sharing is Caring post – I hope you enjoyed it and I hope to do more in the future – as I said, there are loads of great blogs out there and I would love to share the ones I enjoy the most with you
